Eligibility for MS Programs

1.      All Pakistani notional with the required qualification.

2.      Preferable First-Class academic career. However, one-second division (50% Marks) is allowed except in the final degree. In the semester system, a CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 or 60% marks in the al system, in the final degree is required.

3.      Candidates having BS (4-years) / MS in Computer, Geology must have 

studied Physics and Mathematics at the undergraduate level.

4.      Candidates expecting completion of their degree requirements by the end 

of 2020 May also apply.

5.      AGE LIMIT: for Fellowships program the age limit is 27 years for all applicants

 as on June 30, 2020

6.      Merit will be determined by the S admission test and interview.

.      Following are the conditions of the PAEC two year funding for studies at PIEAS

(i)                A a stipend of RS 35000/- (Approx) per month

(ii)             Full fee-waiver, free transport & free self-indoor medical treatment

(iii)           Students have to pledge a bond to serve PAEC/another government department for at least 5 years after completion of tier degree anywhere in Pakistan

(iv)           Appointment after competition of studies in SPS-8 with 3 advance increments

(v)              Eligibility for promotion to next grade (SPS-9) after two years of Service

FELLOWSHIPS FOR MEDICAL DOCTORS POST GRADUATION & CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Applications are invited for two-years MSc (Funded-fellowships and regular-fee) for medical doctors in fields of Nuclear Medicine and radiation & Medical Oncology at Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied sciences (PIEAS) Islamabad. Funded Fellowships are only available for Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) cancer hospitals in SWAT, GILGIT, NAROWAL, LARKANA, BAHAWALPUR, QUETTA, D.I. KHAN, BANNU, ABBOTTABAD, JAMSHORO, and NAWABSHAH AND KARACHI. Some regular fee seats are also available.

 

The salient feature of the fellowships

1.      Stipend of Rs 35000/- Per month with full fee waiver

2.      Free transport & free indoor medical treatment

3.      Promotion as Sr. Medical Officer (In SPS-9) after two years service

4.      Regular appointment/job in PAEC, only in mentioned cities, as Medical Officer (in SPS-08) with 3 advance increments.

Funded-Fellowship condition

Only those candidates who are willing to pledge on judicial stamp paper to serve for at least 05 years in the e-mentioned cities.

Eligibility Criteria

1.      Pakistani nationals with MBBS and one-years hose jobs

2.      First class academic career. However, one-second division (50% Marks) in allowed except in the final degree

3.      Age limit for fellowship in 32 years as on June 30, 2020, no age limit for regular-fee candidates

For ENGINEERS & SCIENTISTS for

Studies leading to the following MS/Ph.D. degrees

Laser communication, Artificial Intelligence All Pakistan national with the required qualification can apply Following are the conditions of the PIEAS IT Endowment fund two / four-years funding for MS / Ph.D. studies at PIEAS

For MS (2 year funding with Rs 25,000/- Per month stipend

1.      Preferable throughout first-class academic career, however, one-second division (50% Marks) is allowed except in the final degree. In the case of semester system, a CGPA 2.5 out of 4 in the final degree is required.

2.      Applications can apply on the basis of GAT (general) score of PEIAS written test candidates expecting completion of their degree requirements by the end of 2020 May also apply.

3.      Age Limit: No age limit

4.      Merit will be determined by PIEAS Admission Test and Interview.

For Ph.D. (4 years funding with Rs 35,000/- per month stipend)

      1.      MS/M.Phil degree (18-years education) in the relevant field and at least. 3.0 CGPA 

            (out of 4)

      2.      Subject GRE (International) / GAT-Subject test conducted by NTS or if Gat subject is not           available in a specific field, then the student has to appear in PIEAS admission test.

      3.      Age limit: no age limit

      4.      Merit will be determined by GRE international / GAT-Subject/ PIEAS admission test and interview.

      5.      Students have to pledge a bond to serve Pakistan for 5 years after completion of their degree.

Important Features of Ph.D. at PIEAS

1.     MS (18 years of education) in the relevant field and at least 3.0 CGPA (Out of 4) or equivalent in MS/M.Phil Degree.

2.      Subject GRE International)/ GAT-Subject test conducted by NTS as per HEC requirements or 

     if GAT Subject is not available in a specific field, then the student has to appear in the PIEAS admission test.

3.      HEC Scholarship holders can apply limited paid positions are available.

4.      Serving applications have to provide NOC from their employers.

5.      Ph.D. candidates can apply at any time after qualifying subject test

6.      Final selection will be made after a thorough interview of the eligible candidates.

ELIGIBILITY

1.      Minimum 60% in both Matriculation / O-level (Science) and Intermediate / A – level

2.      HSSC (pre- Engineering) Applicants are eligible for all BS Programs

3.      HSSC( Pr-Engineering) is a must for all BS Engineering Disciplines.

4.      HSSC (Computer Science/ Pre-Medical) Applications can also apply for BS Physics & BS Computer & Information’s Science

5.      Additional Mathematics is also eligible.

6.      Students awaiting their final result may also apply.

7.      Selection shall be made strictly on merit determined. By

(a) PIEAS Admission Test 60%     (b) Matric 15%

(c) F.Sc Or F.Sc (Part I) 25%          (d) O-level / A – level: 40 % of  O-Level equivalence for IBCC

1.      Admission on the basis of SAT scores (a minimum score of 2000 is required)

2.      SAT II result of three subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics level II)

3.      SAT scores must reach registrar, PIEAS, latest by July 17, 2020-06-08

4.      The PIEAS instructional code to receive SAT scores in 7272.
