How Canada-India Relations Crumbled | Canda PM Justin Trudeaur Repeats Charge Against India
According to Charles Myers, the founder of Signum Global Advisors, a political strategy firm, the Joe Biden administration's approach to the diplomatic dispute between Canada and India is anticipated to be one of careful restraint as it seeks to protect the advancement made in its relationship with Narendra Modi's administration.
According to Myers, the US is
actively collaborating with India to strengthen its competitive advantage over
China. He does, however, believe that the US will avoid becoming too deeply
involved in the conflict. Myers, a well-known supporter of the Democratic Party
with connections to President Biden, shared his opinions on BNN Bloomberg
Television.
Given how serious the charges are,
"Prime Minister Trudeau has to have very good intelligence and evidence
before he even makes these allegations public," said Myers. If accurate,
it represents a case of state-sponsored terrorism committed on Canadian soil.
HOW NIJJAR ARMED KHALISTAN AND TRUDEAU IGNORED IT: KHALISTAN TERROR IN CANADA.
The
shooting death of Canadian citizen and Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh
Nijjar on June 18 in Surrey, a Vancouver suburb, has strained ties between
Canada and India.
Nijjar,
a supporter of an independent Sikh nation in northwest India, was murdered,
according to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who said this week that there is
"credible" evidence connecting the Indian government to the crime.
"Any
involvement of a foreign government in the killing of a Canadian citizen on
Canadian soil is an unacceptable violation of our sovereignty," added
Trudeau.
INDIA AND CANADA ARGUE: THE US GAVE CANADA INFORMATION ABOUT THE MURDER OF THE KHALISTANI TERRORIST NIJJAR
India
has been urged by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to assist Canada's
inquiry into the matter. The US and its allies haven't, however, taken any
actual retaliatory measures, like expelling Indian officials.
