FOR THE SUBJECTS OF ENGLISH, URDU, ISLAMIAT, ECONOMICS, MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS

• Masters’ degree (second division) from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission in relevant subject

FOR THE SUBJECT OF COMMERCE

• Master’s degree (second division) in Commerce from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission;or

• Master’s degree in Business Education (second division) after having Bachelor’s degree in Commerce; or
• Master’s degree in Economics (second division) after having Bachelor’s degree in Commerce; or
• Master’s degree in Business Administration (second division) after having Bachelor’s degree in Commerce; or
• Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance (second division) after having Bachelor’s degree in Commerce

FOR THE SUBJECT OF ENGLISH SHORTHAND

• Masters’ degree (second division) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission preferably in English, Urdu, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing, Law,
• Management, Commerce or Information Technology; and
• Diploma in Commerce with English shorthand as a subject

FOR THE SUBJECT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE/ I.T

• Masters’ degree (second division) in Computer Science or equivalent qualification from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission

 AGE

1. 21 to 28 + 05 Years General age relaxation in upper age limit for Male (including Transgender) = 33 Years on or before the closing date as per Govt. of Punjab,

Age Relaxation

1. 05 years General age relaxation in upper age limit vide Notification No.SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 08-08-2016
2. 05 years for Disable/Special Persons in upper age limit vide Notification No.SOR-I(S&GAD)9-3/2020 dated 02-01-2021

In Commerce Colleges across the Punjab

 

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/TEST (IF HELD)

• One paper of MCQ type written test of 100 marks of 90 minutes duration syllabus is as under;-
• Questions related to prescribed qualification (80%)
• General Ability includes (20%)
• General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Studies

 

NOTE:

1. If the component of 80% qualification related questions relates to a particular subject (e.g. Mathematics), then questions on that subject (e.g. Mathematics) will be excluded from the General Ability component (20%).

The mode & syllabus for the written test of English Shorthand will be intimated in due course of time.
